SSIS invests love and care in all we do

Welcome to

St Stephen's Infant School

  1. Parents/Carers
  2. Mental Health Support

Support for children at SSIS who may be feeling anxious or worried.

The MHSTs are funded by NHS England and provide support to children and young people with mild to moderate mental health issues. In the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) area the MHST service is delivered in full partnership between Avon Wiltshire Partnership NHS (AWP) and Off the Record (OTR). Each team works within a school population of 8,000 students and aims to work across several identified schools to offer 1:1 support to around 350 children each year. More information about Mental Health Support Teams can be found here https://www.otrbristol.org.uk/what-we-do/mhst/
